A certificate policy for the Root Certification Authority and accredited certification authorities issuing qualified certificates and maintenance certificates contains, among others, a methodology, mandatory procedures and liabilities of the National Security Authority for issuing and maintenance of public key certificates of the Root Certification Authority.

The certificate policy is an obligatory document used as a standard of principles, procedures and methods which must be respected by all concerned parties.
